The Wheaton College Conservatory of Music presents a concert featuring Soh-Hyun Park Altino performing traditional Korean sanjo on the violin. Made possible by the support of the 2023 Korean Studies Grant Program of the Academy of Korean Studies and the Faculty Global Research Award of the Wheaton College, Korean-born violinist, Soh-Hyun Park Altino, will embark on a U.S. tour to present her interpretation of the Long Sanjo of the traditional Korean sanjo on the violin. Her lecture-recital tour, which includes four major institutions with Korean studies program, begins with the world premiere at Wheaton College. This free concert is part of the Faculty Artists Series at Wheaton College and will take place in the Coray Alumni Gymnasium at 421 Chase St., Wheaton.
